Falling asleep on the subway

Morning headaches or heartburn

Snoring that wakes you (or your family) up

Tired or low energy through the day

Can’t stay asleep

Waking up throughout the night to use the bathroom

Common Sleep Problems

Sleep problems can look different in each person, but many of them fall into the following categories. If none sound applicable, but you’re still struggling with sleep and fatigue, we recommend booking a consult.

We snore when air passes through a partially narrowed or blocked airway. Occasional snoring is normal, but if it’s consistent, it’s likely that there’s something bigger at play.

woman with insomnia trying to sleep in bedDifficulty falling asleep or staying asleep happens, but if it’s frequent, you might have insomnia. Insomnia is common, but shouldn’t be dismissed; it reduces energy levels and ability to focus.

When your partner’s sleep (or lack thereof) is affecting your sleep, it never hurts to seek out extra help. Not only will you both feel better, your homelife will likely improve.

Man laying in white bed sheets with hand over his faceWhen it feels like your legs can’t (or won’t) rest when you’re trying to fall asleep, you might have Restless Leg Syndrome. Like other sleep disorders, it interferes with the quality of life.
