Restless legs
Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS) is an uncontrollable urge to move your legs, especially at night, when you’re trying to rest. It’s frustrating, but we’ve got some products that can help.
We know Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS) is a neurological disorder, but we don’t know the cause. The best guess scientists have is RLS is linked to how the brain uses dopamine and iron. We also know genetics play a role; if you have it, chances are someone else in your family does, too.
Signs You May have Restless Legs Syndrome
Urge to move your legs
Nighttime leg twitching
Sensations that begin after rest
Worsening of symptoms in the evening
Relief with movement (e.g. stretching)
Unpleasant sensations in your legs or feet
Weighted Blankets
There’s no known cure for RLS, but weighted blankets are a really great option for relieving some of the symptoms. The even distribution of weight over your body triggers pressure points that produce relaxation and sleep hormones for calmer muscles and nerves.
