Restless legs

Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS) is an uncontrollable urge to move your legs, especially at night, when you’re trying to rest. It’s frustrating, but we’ve got some products that can help.

3%

of Canadians are affected by RLS

5-10%

of adults are affected by RLS

40-90%

of patients with RLS say it runs in the family

What causes RLS?

We know Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS) is a neurological disorder, but we don’t know the cause. The best guess scientists have is RLS is linked to how the brain uses dopamine and iron. We also know genetics play a role; if you have it, chances are someone else in your family does, too.

Weighted Blankets

There’s no known cure for RLS, but weighted blankets are a really great option for relieving some of the symptoms. The even distribution of weight over your body triggers pressure points that produce relaxation and sleep hormones for calmer muscles and nerves.
